Reach Germany, a prayer run from Hamburg to Berlin, Germany, comes on the heels of Go Far Ministry’s prayer run last summer from Minneapolis, MN to Columbus, OH and our groundbreaking prayer run during the summer of 2009 in Minneapolis, MN. Our prayer runs are part of a larger vision to encourage the next generation to be a “generation of prayer.” All three prayer runs have included high school and college students that have a desire to grow in their spiritual journey by focusing on the need to become more focused on prayer. Go Far Ministries Director Scott Nesse’s motto has always been, “where prayer focuses, power falls!” We know that to be true and have and will continue to challenge students on the runs to embrace the challenge to pray. This year’s run will take place from July 21st to July 31st and will be a 180-mile run from Hamburg to Berlin, Germany. We are asking God to put us in the path of those that don’t know Him in an effort to make Him known. During last year’s run, people in restaurants, hotels and cars along our prayer run route wanted to know the purpose of the run. This gave us all many opportunities to share the greater purpose for our lives. We will be praying for spiritual revival for the people of Germany. I Thess. 5: 17 says, “be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” We ask that you partner with us in prayer.
